PT Solutions is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support an Occupational Therapist in delivering evidence-based care in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The PRN role focuses on ADLs, ROM, strength, balance, and functional restoration through planned activities and exercises.

You will work under supervision to assist in treating patients, cultivate therapeutic relationships, and coordinate with clinicians and staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved physical therapist assistant program.
• State Licensure
• Basic Life Support Certification

Job Overview & Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist in the practice of occupational therapy to include development deficits, activities of daily living work conditioning, range of motion, coordination, balance endurance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.
