Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support an Occupational Therapist in developing rehab plans, ADLs, ROM, balance, cognition and strength-building programs.

This role offers a competitive hourly base pay, a sign-on bonus, and monthly incentive bonuses, with opportunities for professional development and collaboration in neuro, trauma, ortho, and hand therapy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved occupational therapy assistant program.
• State Licensure required for practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
• Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goals
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the community

Education

Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved occupational therapist assistant program

State Licensure

Basic Life Support Certification via the American Heart Association

Job Overview & Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist in the practice of occupational therapy to include development deficits, activities of daily living work conditioning, range of motion, coordination, balance endurance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.

Compensation & Bonus Structure

• Base Salary: $28.00–$35.00/hour (based on experience and market factors)
• Monthly Incentive Bonuses for exceeding daily visit thresholds
• Sign-On Bonus: Available!
