Job summary

The Occupational Therapy Assistant/COTA position in Marion, SC supports MUHA's Physical Therapy team by delivering therapeutic procedures under a licensed PT. You will identify patients needing reassessment and actively contribute to the plan of care with the PT, caring for patients of all ages.

New graduates are accepted; 1-3 years experience preferred. SC Board certification/eligibility, BLS, and a valid driver’s license are required. 8 hours weekly; hourly pay; full-time employment.

Qualifications

• OTA/CAA degree from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Administers therapeutic procedures under the direction of the physical therapist.

Job Description

Identifies patients in need of re-assessment or intervention by the physical therapist and routinely collaborates with the physical therapist regarding the plan of care. This job classification is required to care for patients of all ages.
