Job summary

Grand Canyon University invites applications for Adjunct Clinical and Lab Nursing faculty members. This PRN position requires travel within the Salt Lake City, Utah area to observe student performance during clinical rotations and labs.

You will reinforce didactic content, collaborate with faculty to document student progress, participate in grading, and stay current with trends in nursing practice while upholding accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in multi-state (compact) status.
• BSN is required; MSN preferred with immediate enrollment in MSN Leadership or MSN Education program.
• 3+ years of direct care in Population/Public Health nursing with BSN.
• Ability to pass drug test and competency assessments.
• Excellent communication and ability to build positive student relationships.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and teach essential nursing knowledge and skills.
• Collaborate with faculty to evaluate and document student progress toward objectives.
• Participate in grading written work and clinical performance check-offs.
• Stay current with trends and development in nursing practice.
• Maintain compliance with program accreditation requirements.
• Travel to GCU student sites to observe student performance during rotations and labs.
• Support the program in alignment with the university's philosophy and mission.
• Model the Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission in daily practice.
