Job summary

UF Health Shands Homecare is seeking a PRN Nursing Assistant to join the Float Pool in Leesburg, FL. You will support patients and nursing teams across multiple clinical areas, delivering basic physical care and comfort measures.

Under RN supervision, you’ll help maintain a safe, clean care environment and adapt to staffing needs. Requirements include a Florida CNA license or 2 years of related experience and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post-high-school specialized training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience, OR Florida CNA license.
• BLS required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient support and basic physical care.
• Assist with patient comfort measures and ensure safety and organization.
• Support multiple clinical areas as needed within the Float Pool.
