Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a nursing assistant to support patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will perform routine tasks, take vital signs, document intake and output, and ensure safety and comfort for patients across age groups, from pediatric to geriatric.

This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, enrollment in an accredited nursing program or completion within a year, and current BLS CPR certification. Prior nursing assistant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• Enrolled in Accredited nursing program or completed within 1 year without RN/LPN license.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• 1+ nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under RN supervision.
• Record blood pressures, I&O, and glucose results.
• Prepare and deliver meals and trays; maintain safety and hygiene.
• Document procedures accurately and report abnormalities.
