AdventHealth is seeking a Nursing Assistant for a PRN Day shift in Tampa, Florida. You will assist in patient care under a registered nurse, document procedures, and ensure safety and infection control practices align with policy.

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; current enrollment in an accredited nursing program or completion within 1 year; BLS CPR certification. Prior nursing assistant experience is preferred. Pay range is listed and benefits begin on day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program or completed within 1 year and not licensed.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Document procedures accurately according to department policy.
• Follow PPE, hand hygiene, and safety requirements; participate in practice changes.
• Float between assignments and adapt to varying healthcare settings.
• Support age-appropriate care across diverse patient populations.
