Job summary

Regent Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare in Wichita, KS is seeking PRN nurses (LPNs and RNs) to cover day and night shifts. This locally owned facility offers a 5-star CMS rating, stable hours, and a supportive team.

LPN starts at $29.00 per hour and RN at $37.50 per hour, with PRN shift pick-up bonuses increasing your hourly wage accepted.

Qualifications

• Must have a current RN or LPN license in Kansas (IV certification preferred).
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work a minimum of 2 shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day nursing assistant functions per rules and guidelines that govern the long-term care and rehab facility.
• Ensures charting and documentation is completed every shift and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments ordered by the physician.
• Performs other nursing duties as assigned by nursing management.
• Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment.
• Always exercises courtesy with residents, family members, and visitors.
• Demonstrates pride in Regent Park by keeping areas clean and safe.
• Demonstrates ongoing responsibility and commitment through good attendance and punctuality.
• Respects the privacy and dignity of residents.

Shifts are DAYS 6:00am-6:30pm and/or NIGHTS 6:00pm-6:30am

Job Qualifications

• Previous job experience preferred but not required
• Must have a current RN or LPN license in the State of Kansas (IV Certification preferred)
• Must have excellent time management skills and be able to work on deadlines
• Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude with residents, visitors, and co-workers at all times
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs
• Must work a minimum of 2 shifts per month and attend monthly staff in-services
