Job summary
Legacy Care’s independent medical group is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join Warrenton, VA on a PRN basis. You will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across post-acute, long-term care and assisted living settings.
Applicants should have an NP credential (MSN/DNP), Virginia licensure, board certification, and DEA registration. The role offers professional autonomy with strong support and flexible scheduling to meet
Qualifications
- MSN or DNP in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted Virginia NP license with Virginia practice eligibility.
- National NP board certification.
- DEA registration and prescribing authority as required.
- Family NP or AGPCNP certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical evaluations and treatments in post-acute, long-term care, and assisted living settings.
- Perform initial, routine, and follow-up assessments with review of medical history and medications.
- Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions and respond to changes in patient status.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
