Job summary

ComForCare in Omaha seeks a PRN Nurse Manager to help the Administrator plan, develop, and direct home health services while supervising care teams and ensuring quality care delivery. The role emphasizes compliance with regulations and ongoing quality improvement.

Required: RN license, 1+ year supervisory/administrative health program experience, and at least 2 years nursing in acute hospital or home health with supervision of home health aides.

Qualifications

• RN with home health or acute care experience.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory/administrative experience in health programs.
• Two years nursing experience in acute hospital or home health caring for clients; supervision of home health aides for at least six months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure agency employs qualified personnel through postings, interviews and training.
• Supervise, coordinate, evaluate, and develop client care teams for quality delivery and proper case management.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations governing home care services.
• Oversee and implement the agency’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement program.
• Conduct client admissions.
• Other related duties as assigned.

The PRN Nurse Manager will work closely with the Administrator to assist with the planning, development and direction of the Agency’s services, including the supervision of Agency caregivers. What you'll be doing:

• Ensuring the Agency employs qualified personnel by assisting with Job postings, interviews and training
• Manages, supervises, coordinates, evaluates and develops client care teams to ensure quality care delivery and appropriate case management
• Assures compliance with federal/state regulations governing home care services
• Oversees and implements the Agency’s Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Program
• Conducts client admissions
• Other related duties as assigned

What we're looking for:

• Training & experience in health service administration with at least one (1) year of supervisory or administrative experience in health program
• Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience in an acute hospital setting or equivalent experience, at least one year of which is in the provision of home health care, and who has supervised home health aide services for at least six months.
