Job summary

South Dakota Developmental Center in Redfield, SD is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN, part-time shifts (≥20 hours weekly). Pay ranges from $28.83 to $38.98 per hour, with night and weekend differentials. This position is with the Department of Human Services, SD Developmental Center.

The role requires SD licensure or eligibility (RN or LPN) and background screening. Prior experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or eligible as Registered Nurse in South Dakota.
• Must be licensed or eligible as Practical Nurse in South Dakota.
• Experience with adolescents or adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services following established procedures and standards.
• Fill PRN shifts as needed at SD Developmental Center.
• Maintain patient records, charts, and reports accurately.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and support staff.
