Job summary

Wise Path Recovery Center in Williamson, WV is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses and/or Licensed Practical Nurses (PRN) to join our nursing team on an on-site basis. You will provide direct nursing care to individuals on their recovery journey within a 24/7 behavioral health setting.

As a PRN RN or LPN, you will perform assessments, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support safe, respectful care.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in West Virginia or a current multistate nursing license that permits practice in West Virginia.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain as required by the facility.
• Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse license in West Virginia or a current multistate nursing license that permits practice in West Virginia.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain as required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care within the scope of your professional license.
• Complete nursing assessments and collect relevant medical and behavioral health information.
• Monitor patients for changes in physical condition, mental status, withdrawal symptoms, medication response, and overall well-being.
• Administer medications accurately and safely according to provider orders, facility procedures, and applicable nursing standards.
• Complete medication reconciliation and maintain accurate medication administration records.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the patient medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the treatment team.
