Veterans Affairs - Agency 28 in Bellevue, NE seeks a Nurse Aide/Med Aide PRN to join the on-site team. The role focuses on providing direct resident care, with flexible weekend and night shifts in our PRN pool.

Minimum 18 years old, completion of a state approved 76-hour training, and Nebraska Nurse Aide Registry listing are required. A background check and drug screen are mandatory, plus Medication Aide training within the first year.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Completed a state approved 76 hour nurse aide training course and competency evaluation program.
• Listed on the Nebraska Nurse Aide Registry.
• A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.
• Medication Aide course and be listed on the Medication Aide registry within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Nurse Aide/Med Aide services in the PRN Pool, staffing weekends and nights.
• Maintain eligibility by fulfilling a minimum 32 hours per month (16 hours on weekends/s).
• Interact with residents and colleagues in a positive, flexible manner to meet changing shift demands.
