Marietta Heights Post Acute in Ohio is seeking a compassionate PRN Nurse to provide high-quality care for residents on a flexible schedule. The role entails administering medications, monitoring conditions, and documenting care under physician orders.

Candidates should hold a current RN or LPN license in Ohio and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork. Previous long-term care experience is preferred; we offer supportive team environments and opportunities to make a meaningful difference

Qualifications

• Current, valid nursing license as an RN or LPN in the state of Ohio.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, and resident care standards.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, professional, and dependable attitude.
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide quality nursing care to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Collaborate with STNAs and other healthcare team members to ensure quality resident care.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and facility staff.
• Follow infection control procedures, safety guidelines, and facility policies.
• Promote residents’ dignity, independence, comfort, and overall well-being.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in resident condition.
