Job summary

Marietta Heights Post Acute in Ohio is seeking a compassionate PRN Nurse to deliver quality care with a flexible schedule. You will administer medications, monitor residents, and coordinate with the healthcare team to maintain high standards of safety and comfort.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN or LPN license in Ohio, demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills, and bring prior long-term care experience. We welcome dedicated professionals to join our caring team.

Qualifications

• Current, valid nursing license as an RN or LPN in Ohio.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, and resident care standards.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, professional, and dependable attitude.
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to healthcare professionals.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Collaborate with STNAs and other healthcare team members to ensure quality resident care.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and facility staff.
• Follow infection control procedures, safety guidelines, and facility policies.
• Promote residents' dignity, independence, comfort, and overall well-being.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in resident condition.
