Job summary

Complete Health is seeking a highly adaptable Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to support our urgent care, walk-in clinics, and same-day sick visits across Alabama. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling and travel between locations.

You will evaluate and treat acute illnesses, order tests, prescribe within scope, and collaborate with physicians and nursing teams. Alabama APRN/PA license, board cert, and BLS required; urgent care exp. preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current unrestricted Alabama APRN, FNP, or PA license.
• National board certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries.
• Provide same-day care for urgent and episodic medical concerns.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory results.
• Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Determine appropriate referrals and escalation of care when necessary.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing teams, and clinic leadership.
• Weekday availability is strongly preferred.
• Must be willing to travel between assigned clinic locations throughout the Alabama market.
• Must be willing to provide coverage across Urgent Care locations, Walk-In Clinics, and Same-Day Sick Clinics.
• Flexibility to support provider coverage needs and fluctuating patient volumes.
