Job summary

Cullman Regional Urgent Care in Cullman, AL is seeking a licensed Advanced Practice Nurse, CRNP, for PRN (.3 FTE) Day shift. The role focuses on coordinating care, patient education, exams, and procedures under a collaborative agreement.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred), CRNP certification with Alabama Board of Nursing, and 5–7 years of progressive healthcare management experience, preferably in urgent care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with preference for master’s degree in related field.
• Current or eligible to be certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• Required 5-7 years of progressive healthcare management experience, preferably in a medical practice or urgent care setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plan of care, discharge, and specialty referrals as appropriate to meet the age specific needs of the patient.
• Plan and coordinate healthcare education for patients, patients' family,and other health care providers as needed.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assessments.
• Interpret, analyze, and evaluate patient’s medical record and social data.
• Perform and/or assist the physician with procedures per collaborative agreement.
• Coordinate and participate in performance improvement activities.
