  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current unrestricted APRN, FNP, or PA license.
  • National board certification.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries.
  • Perform comprehensive urgent care assessments for patients across the lifespan.
  • Manage common conditions including respiratory illnesses, infections, gastrointestinal concerns, musculoskeletal injuries, skin conditions, and minor trauma.
  • Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory and diagnostic test results; perform office-based procedures.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice.
  • Determine when specialty referral or emergency department escalation is appropriate.
  • Educate patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and care team members.
  • Maintain timely and accurate EMR documentation.

What You’ll Do

  • Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory and diagnostic test resultsPerform office‑based procedures including suturing, wound care, I&Ds, splinting, foreign body removal, and point‑of‑care testing
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice
  • Determine when specialty referral or emergency department escalation is appropriate
  • Educate patients regarding treatment plans and follow‑up care
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and care team members
  • Maintain timely and accurate EMR documentation

  • Strong clinical decision‑making and triage skills
