Job summary

Whitman Hospital & Medical Clinics in the United States seeks an experienced RN for night PRN coverage. You will provide direct patient care, including admissions, transfers, discharges and medications, while coordinating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.

Required WA RN license, ongoing BLS, and ACLS/PALS within 90 days. You must demonstrate effective communication, physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs, and commitment to safety and patient privacy.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington state.
• BLS certification maintained during employment.
• ACLS and PALS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including admissions, transfers, discharges, medications and treatments.
• Implement orders and communicate changes to nursing and medical staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families on illness, treatments and discharge plans.
• Promote privacy, safety and infection prevention in line with policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Float to other departments as needed after orientation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
