Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Less than 1 year of experience in respiratory care.
• BLS certification and Texas RCP licensure required; RRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory care services including oxygen and aerosol therapy.
• Administers inhaled medications and airway clearance techniques.
• Conducts bedside spirometry and follows physician orders.
• Document treatments and ensure accurate billing charges.
• Complies with infection control, HIPAA, and attendance policies.
• Collaborates with staff to provide high-quality patient care.
• Keeps leadership informed of patient progress and needs.
• Maintains readiness to meet protocols and emergency situations.
