Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation (BSWIR) at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for NICU coverage. The role is PRN, with Weekday pay of $60 and Weekend pay of $66 per hour.

A minimum of 1 year NICU experience is required. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and modifying treatment plans, and coordinating care with other teams while educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience.
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement and modify treatment plans per physician direction.
• Coordinate treatment program with other clinical/therapeutic services to maximize outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, students, and staff on therapy plans and progress.
