Job summary

Advocate Health’s NICU at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA is seeking a PRN NICU nurse for day or night shifts with weekend and holiday rotation. This part-time role requires active RN licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year NICU experience.

You will engage in governance, care planning, and safe patient care within a Level III NICU. Join a team focused on evidence-based practice, continuous improvement, and interprofessional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and quality outcomes.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
