Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a registered nurse to join the NICU team at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA. This full-time role requires 36 hours per week, with a pay range $38.20–$57.30 per hour.

You will apply the nursing process, monitor patient conditions, document in the EHR, and collaborate with physicians and care staff. BSN preferred; BLS certification required; 1 year of clinical nursing experience recommended.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice.
• BLS certification is required; other certifications may be needed by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engage in nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Uphold a culture of safety and participate in quality initiatives.
• Administer medications and therapies according to protocols.
• Communicate effectively and delegate appropriately within the team.
