Job summary

Lynx EMS in West Virginia is seeking a PRN NEMT Driver/EMT Assistant to support scheduled patient transports, hospital discharges, and interfacility transfers on an as-needed basis.

You will assist with loading, securing patients, and maintaining comfort and safety, while delivering compassionate customer service. EMT certification is not required; lifting up to 150 lbs may be required; competitive pay and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Background check must be clean.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe, non-emergency patient transportation
• Safely load, secure, and transport patients using stretchers, wheelchairs, and other equipment
• Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and safety throughout transport
• Complete required documentation accurately
• Keep vehicles clean, stocked, and inspection-ready
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, patients, and healthcare facilities
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures
