Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and graduate of an approved School of Radiographic Technology.
• Be certified by the State of Indiana.
• Be an R.T.(R) ARRT in good standing.
• Be ARRT certified as R.T.(MR) at hire or within 2 years of date of hire as an MRI Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures and selects/operates MRI equipment and protocols.
• Provides patient education describing tests and procedures.
• Maintains area cleanliness, restocks supplies and reports equipment malfunctions.
• Participates in department quality assessment and improvement plans and quality control duties.
