Job summary

OrthoIndy is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic scans at our Franciscan OrthoIndy location in West Lafayette, IN. The role involves flexible shifts (8–10 hours, one day per week, no weekends) and requires current ARRT certification and Indiana radiologic license.

The MRI Technologist provides high-quality patient care under physician protocols, maintaining safety and professional standards across MRI procedures and related duties.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in related field required.
• 1-2 years experience required.
• ARRT certification and Indiana license required; Magnetic Resonance training.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and advanced MR procedures with proper protocols.
• Positions patients, adjusts equipment and selects scanning protocols.
• Screens patients and explains procedures; ensures patient safety.
• Inserts angiocath, performs blood draws and contrast injections as warranted.
• Monitors vital signs during scans and assists with emergent care.
• Supports QA, stocking of MR supplies and room cleanliness.
• Maintains safety for patients and staff in the MRI room.
