Job summary

Vail Health is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI and X-ray examinations, ensuring quality imaging and patient safety. The role supports a dedicated radiology team and requires ARRT RT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification with BLS.

Pay is hourly, with a 16% PRN differential, and experience of 1–2 years in MRI is preferred. This PRN opportunity emphasizes quality care and efficient workflow in a mountain healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years MRI tech experience preferred and healthcare experience required.
• ARRT registry (RT(R)(MR)) or ARMRIT certification required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to Vail Health protocols.
• Perform radiographic examinations according to Vail Health protocols.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and communicate results to care team.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while ensuring high-quality imaging.
• Utilize HIS and PACS for documentation and data flow.
• Monitor supply inventory and keep work areas organized.
