Job summary

Heartland Imaging in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our patient-focused team on a PRN basis. The role requires performing MRI imaging procedures and adhering to established protocols to ensure patient safety and diagnostic quality.

The candidate must hold ARRT in Radiography or ARMIT with MR advanced registration and meet state licensure requirements. An Associate degree in Radiology or a two-year radiology program is required.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associates Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
• Must be registered by ARRT in Radiography or ARMIT, with MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT upon hire.
• Must meet state licensure requirements for the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Provide patient-centered care and ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Requirements

EDUCATION

• Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT. MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
