Job summary

Institute of Diagnostic Imaging is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a PRN role in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Every other Sunday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with additional weekday and Saturday shifts available for staffing coverage.

Outpatient setting, supportive team, and strong work-life balance. Must hold an Associates Degree in Radiology and ARRT/ARMIT MR certification with state licensure as required, plus MR advanced registration at hire.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associates Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
• ARRT/ARMIT registration with MR advanced registration required upon hire; state licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures for outpatients in a flexible PRN schedule.
• Position patients and ensure safety per imaging protocols and OSHA standards.
• Maintain high-quality imaging and accurate documentation for patient records.
• Support staffing needs for vacation coverage, weekends, and call-outs as required.

Position Details

• Employment Type: PRN
• Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL
• Primary Need: Every other Sunday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Additional weekday and Saturday shifts are available as needed to assist with staffing, vacation coverage, and call-outs.
• Our outpatient centers operate Monday-Saturday, 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM, with varying shift times.

Requirements

EDUCATION

• Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT. MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
