Duties/Responsibilities Duties/Responsibilities operate the Siemens Skyra 3T scanner for large and small animal MRI procedures, coordinate with anesthesia, faculty and radiology house officers on patient schedules and patient in-take, position animals during procedures, generate images to provide to the hospital clinician team Percentage of time 75 Duties/Responsibilities clean control room, magnet and chiler cooling system, communicate with staff on progress of scans and if problems exist. The primary duties and responsibilities for this position will be to operate a Siemens Skyra 3T scanner, receive and position patients to be scanned, and generate images to present to the hospital clinician team. Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position Certificate, Diploma or associate degree in MRI Technology. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Hands on experience in using a Siemens MRI scanner, verifiable experience as an MRI technician within a hospital setting, understanding of animal anatomy. Physical Demands lift up to 50lbs,
bend, stoop, squat, reach and work with arms overhead, push and pull large animals, pick up and position small animals. Is this a Position of Trust?
