Job summary

ExamOne, a Quest Diagnostics company, seeks a Mobile Examiner to perform phlebotomy and diagnostic services in clients' homes or workplaces. This independent role emphasizes high-quality patient care, accuracy, and a flexible schedule.

You will travel locally, handle specimens with care, and use company systems to upload results within 24–48 hours. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, active phlebotomy or medical assistant certification, and at least 1 year of phlebotomy

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care in clients' homes or workplaces, including vitals, histories, venipunctures, urine collection and EKGs as applicable.
• Accurately label, centrifuge, split and package specimens for transport.
• Travel locally to meet clients and maintain flexible scheduling while delivering excellent service.
• Use company tech to confirm appointments, track cases and upload exams within 24–48 hours.
• Assist with inventory, keep clean workspaces, dispatch calls, and mentor new staff when needed.

In this independent and flexible role, you will be the face of our company, providing top-notch care and diagnostic services to clients both in our centers and on the go. Pay & Benefits

Pay Range: $21–$30 per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation. Quest Diagnostics provides employees the opportunity to invest in the future through a 401(k) Plan with eligibility for all employees after one month, and after one year, a fully vested company match up to 5% of pay.

What You’ll Do

• Provide Hands-On Care: Conduct exams at individuals’ homes or workplaces. Take basic vitals, record medical histories, and perform venipunctures, urine collections, and EKGs as applicable.
• Manage Specimens with Precision: Accurately label, centrifuge, split, and package specimens for safe, timely transport.
• Be a Mobile Ambassador: Travel locally to meet clients where they are, ensuring a flexible schedule while maintaining top-tier customer service.
• Stay Tech-Connected: Utilize company technology to confirm appointments, status of cases, and upload completed exams to our portal within 24–48 hours.
• Keep Things Running Smoothly: Assist with inventory, maintain clean workspaces, dispatch calls, and occasionally mentor new team members.

Qualifications & Skills

To thrive in this role, you should be a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional who values compliance, adaptability, independence, and customer satisfaction.

Required Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Active Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification – based on state requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience, including at least 100 documented successful blood draws.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients, urine, and EKG administration.
• Must have internet access, computer, and printer.

Transportation

• Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience.
• Motor Vehicle Record with no more than 2 moving violation convictions within the previous 36 months, with none in the most recent 12 months.
