Job summary

Quest Diagnostics—ExamOne is seeking a Mobile Examiner to deliver hands-on care in clients' homes or workplaces, including venipuncture, urine collection, and EKGs. You’ll travel locally, document exams, and upload results within 24–48 hours, while providing friendly, professional service.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, independence, and strong patient care in a dynamic community setting. A valid driver’s license and state certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Active Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification per state.
• Minimum 1 year phlebotomy experience with 100+ blood draws.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients, urine and EKG administration.
• Must have internet access, a computer, and a printer.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care at clients' homes or workplaces, including venipuncture, EKGs and specimen collection.
• Label, centrifuge, split and package specimens for transport.
• Travel locally to meet clients and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Use company portal to confirm appointments and upload exam results within 24–48 hours.

Pay & Benefits

• $21–$30 per hour
• Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
• Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.
• Quest Diagnostics provides a 401(k) Plan with eligibility for all employees after one month, and after one year, a fully vested company match up to 5% of pay.

What You’ll Do

• Provide Hands‑On Care: Conduct exams at the individual's homes or workplace. Take basic vitals, record medical histories, and perform venipunctures, urine collections, and EKGs as applicable.
• Manage Specimens with Precision: Accurately label, centrifuge, split, and package specimens for safe, timely transport.
• Be a Mobile Ambassador: Travel locally to meet clients where they are, ensuring a flexible schedule while maintaining top‑tier customer service.
• Stay Tech‑Connected: Utilize company technology to confirm appointments, status cases, and upload completed exams to our portal within 24–48 hours.
• Keep Things Running Smoothly: Assist with inventory, maintain clean workspaces, dispatch calls, and occasionally mentor new team members.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Active Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification based on state requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience, including at least 100 documented successful blood draws.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients, urine, and EKG administration.
• Must have internet access, a computer, and a printer.

Transportation

• Valid Driver's license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience.
• Motor Vehicle Record with no more than 2 moving violation convictions within the previous 36 months, with none in the most recent 12 months.
