MedStar Health is seeking a PRN MFM Ultrasound Technologist for MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. The role performs OB/GYN sonograms, biophysical profiles, non-stress tests and AFIs, and assists with amniocentesis and CVS procedures.

The position involves evaluating images, generating reports, coordinating with physicians and staff to ensure prompt patient care, and may include training duties. The candidate will sterilize equipment and assist with inventory and supplies as needed.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma/GED or graduate of an accredited school of diagnostic ultrasound.
• 1-2 years in OB/GYN ultrasound.
• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) registered or eligible with certification within 180 days.

Aufgaben

• Performs OB/GYN sonograms, biophysical profiles, non-stress tests and AFIs as directed.
• Assists with amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling procedures.
• Enters data to generate sonographic reports and coordinates with physicians and staff to ensure timely patient care.
• May assist in training patients, employees, physicians, students and others.
• Cleans and sterilizes equipment and participates in inventory and supply purchasing.
