Curant Health Georgia LLC in Smyrna, GA is seeking a PRN Medication Adherence Advocate (Clinical Pharmacy Technician) to support the Clinical Services team and improve prescription fills. This full-time onsite role requires GA registration, 2+ years in a pharmacy setting, and strong communication.

Training is two weeks onsite with 8:30 AM–5:30 PM hours, and some remote work may be available after training based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • GA registered Pharmacy Technician required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

  • Outreach to pharmacies, prescribers, and patients to coordinate fills.
  • Document all interactions and support the Clinical Services team.
  • Assist with MTM and Health Plan initiatives.
  • Enroll Hybrid Support level patients for High Touch services.
  • Organize daily workload to meet goals and priorities.
  • Assist Clinicians with medication information discrepancies and histories.
  • Provide clear, complete documentation.
  • Assist with patient enrollment for Medication Management services.

Curant Health is seeking a PRN Medication Adherence Advocate (Clinical Pharmacy Technician) to join our growing team. The Clinical Pharmacy Technician is primarily responsible for supporting the Clinical Services team to include but not limited to assessing and assisting with prescription refills to improve medication adherence.

The Clinical Pharmacy Technician must outreach pharmacies, prescribers, and/or patients to coordinate and facilitate prescription fills. Additionally, the Clinical Pharmacy Technician is required to document all interactions, activities, and provide additional support to the Clinical Services team as appropriate to their scope of work. This is a full-time position working onsite in our Smyrna, GA office.

Candidates must be available to complete an initial two-week, full-time onsite training period at our Smyrna, GA location. Training hours during this period are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM.

Following the initial two weeks, any additional training will continue onsite and will be scheduled based on the candidate’s availability. The position may offer some work-from-home flexibility once training requirements have been successfully completed and proficiency has been demonstrated. Any remote work flexibility is based on business needs and leadership discretion and is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities
  • Actively engage current and potential patients with the goal of understanding barriers to medication adherence.
  • Provide a superior experience with communicating on the phone.
  • Assist the Clinical Services team with prescriber, pharmacy, or patient outreaches and obtain necessary patient information needed to provide patient care.
  • Assess and enroll Hybrid Support level patients for High Touch services.
  • Work to organize and prioritize daily workload to meet company goals and priorities.
  • Assist the Clinical Pharmacists in obtaining medication information discrepancies, medication histories, etc.
  • Provides clear, complete, and accurate documentation.
  • Assist Care Management with patient enrollment for Medication Management services.
  • Assist with Health Plan initiatives such as SUPD, HEDIS or other programs related to pharmacy measures.
  • Assist with MTM services, to include, but not limited to the following: scheduling, medication review prep, document creation/ upload into MedPlan for patient profile and mailings.
Qualifications
  • Must be registered in the state of Georgia as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a pharmacy environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
