Job summary

Curant Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join its Smyrna, GA team. You will be the primary link between patients, physicians and the pharmacy, ensuring accurate prescription filling and data entry.

Qualifications

• Must be currently registered in Georgia as a Pharmacy Technician.
• 2 years pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy environment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fills prescriptions by retrieving prescription orders; counting, pouring, measuring or weighing medication tablets, liquids, and creams; mixing or reconstituting medications as needed; selecting, filling, and labeling prescription containers; and operating scanning equipment and/or automated dispensing systems to ensure prescription accuracy
• Work and grow in a collaborative and family-like atmosphere where you are more than just a number.
• Accurately input necessary data to keep patient records up to date. Analyze and review data for completeness and accuracy of documentation according to specified standards
