Job summary

Ottumwa Regional Health Center seeks a Medical Technologist to perform diagnostic testing and analysis on patient samples. You will collect and prepare specimens, operate and maintain lab equipment, and perform automated and manual tests on blood and other fluids, ensuring accuracy per QA protocols.

Role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and to report findings to clinicians for patient care decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• License preferred: ASCP or AMT; licensure to reflect education.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
