Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH is seeking a Medical Technologist for a PRN role to perform a wide range of routine and specialized laboratory tests across transfusion, chemistry, hematology, and microbiology. The position requires strong attention to quality control and adherence to accreditation standards.

The MT will function as a technical resource, assist in training staff, and perform phlebotomy and specimen processing, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required for Medical Technologist role.
• ASCP Medical Technologist certification required.
• 1+ years of MT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine and specialized medical laboratory tests.
• Adhere to quality control policies to ensure reliable data.
• Coordinate quality assurance and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Document results and report to nursing units or physicians.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain records to comply with CAP and Joint Commission standards.
• Train and orient staff and students on procedures.
