HealthTrust Supply Chain is a critical part of HCA Healthcare’s strategy, supporting hospitals with non-clinical and administrative functions to improve efficiency and reduce costs. This PRN Supply Inventory Technician role at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center involves stocking, inventory control, and timely deliveries to nursing stations.

The role emphasizes accurate receiving, Min/Max reviews, barcode checks, and collaboration with POU staff.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous stock clerk experience preferred.
• Some hospital supply experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver supplies in an accurate and timely manner.
• Transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices.
• Place safety stock in proper location.
• Receive expedited deliveries and update the SMART system.
• Receive cross-docked items into the SMART system.
• Review Min/Max for storeroom safety stock daily and place orders appropriately.
• Count par level areas weekly according to schedule.
• Ensure POU items have proper barcodes.
• Perform QA random checks on totes per policy.
• Rotate stock to prevent items from becoming out of date.
• Check after-hour logs for charges and address reoccurrences.
• React to POU critical point messages and stockouts.
• Process returns to vendor or backup stock appropriately.
• Assist POU Station personnel and nurses stations with problems and questions.
