Job summary

Centurion Health at Crossroads Correctional Center in Cameron, Missouri, seeks a PRN Medical Records Clerk to manage offender health records and respond to health record requests. The role supports care continuity and performs general clerical duties.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/BLS certification, and at least one year in a medical office environment; security clearance and background check are required. Shift currently days, Monday-Thursday 7am-12pm as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of medical office experience preferred.
• Current CPR and Basic Life Support Certification.
• Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred.
• Medical Records/Mental Health/Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
• Computer/Data Entry experience.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain offender health records and respond to health record requests.
• Perform clerical duties to support healthcare staff and maintain accountability for records.
• Assist in ensuring continuity of care through accurate record-keeping and data entry.

PRN Pay Rate $19.50/Hr.Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a PRN (per diem) Medical Records Clerk to join our team at Crossroads Correctional Center located in Cameron, Missouri.The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for initiating and maintaining offender health records, responding to requests for health records, and performing clerical duties.
