Job summary

Centurion Health in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking a full-time Medical Records Clerk to join Western Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center. The role maintains offender health records, responds to requests, and supports continuity of care.

The qualified candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, medical office experience, CPR/BLS, and data entry skills; a security clearance may be required. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of medical office experience preferred.
• Current CPR and Basic Life Support Certification.
• Medical Records/Mental Health/Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred.
• Computer/Data Entry experience.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain offender health records.
• Respond to requests for health records and perform clerical duties.
• Work closely with healthcare staff to ensure maintenance and accountability for offender health records.
