Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Medical Records Clerk at Northeast Correctional Center in Bowling Green, MO to initiate and maintain offender health records and respond to health record requests. You will work with healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care and file management.

The role requires attention to detail, data entry proficiency, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Day shift, HS diploma required, benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of medical office experience preferred.
• Current CPR and Basic Life Support Certification.
• Medical Records/Mental Health/Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred.
• Computer/Data Entry experience.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain offender health records.
• Respond to requests for health records in a timely manner.
• Perform clerical duties to support clinic operations.
• Work closely with healthcare staff to ensure accuracy and accountability of offender health records.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Records Clerk to join our team at Northeast Correctional Center located in Bowling Green, Missouri.

The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for initiating and maintaining offender health records, responding to requests for health records, and performing clerical duties. Works closely with healthcare staff to ensure maintenance and accountability for offender health records to support continuity of care.
