Job summary

Lexington Health Northeast Urgent Care seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for PRN, AM/PM shifts. You will perform manual and automated testing, collect specimens, and ensure quality control.

The role supports inpatient and outpatient populations and requires lab certification or eligibility with timely attainment. Candidates must have an Associate degree, and may be considered if registry eligible with certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited program.
• Active MLT certification or eligible to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• National certifications accepted: NCA, AMT, or AAB.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated laboratory testing per procedures.
• Collect specimens and perform venipuncture as needed.
• Maintain quality control records and instrument maintenance.
• Report abnormal results and ensure instrument operation is correct.
