Johnston-Willis Hospital seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician PRN to uphold lab policies and assist in daily operations. You will perform assigned tasks, support the team, and may assume tech-in-charge duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires Associates Degree in Medical Technology or related science.
• Nursing Degree considered with CLIA courses.
• ASCP/AMT registry/licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow general lab and department policies and procedures.
• Perform tech-in-charge duties when needed and supervise staff as required.
• Maintain competency, participate in proficiency testing, and complete annual training.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and document corrective actions.
• Ensure proper quality control and safety checks on equipment.
