Optim Medical Center - Screven is seeking a PRN/Flex Shift Medical Laboratory Technician for our Sylvania, GA location. The role includes performing phlebotomy, operating automated instruments, and reporting results under supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate from accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program.
• Current AMT or ASCP license/registry (or equivalent) required.
• 2 years lab experience, preferably in clinical office lab.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and prepare specimens for in-house and reference lab testing.
• Operate automated chemistry, hematology, immunology, and urinalysis instruments under supervision.
• Perform manual tests following detailed instructions.
• Verify quality control and maintain accurate records.
• Report test results per clinical protocols and alert physicians of critical findings.
• Assist with instrument maintenance and inventory of supplies.
