Job summary

Weston County Health Services is seeking a Full-Time Laboratory Technician to provide high-quality laboratory services to WCHS and affiliated providers. The role includes performing routine to complex tests, reporting results, and maintaining equipment and records.

Qualified candidates will have MLS/MLT credentials, BSLS, and be able to cover shifts as needed; strong attention to safety and infection control is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited MLS or MLT program.
• Current registration with certifying board or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain medical laboratory equipment performance and quality control.
• Maintain Laboratory Information System and confidentiality.
• Cover shifts as needed by the Laboratory Manager.
• Assist with analysis and trending of incidents and information exchange.
• Attend staff and other required meetings.
