Conemaugh Miners Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a PRN Medical Technologist to join our hospital laboratory team. You will perform waived to high-complexity tests, maintain QC, and report results within required timelines to support patient care.

Required: Bachelor's degree in medical technology/MLS or related science, ASCP eligible or registered, and BLS/CPR within 12 months. This is a PRN role with varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, MLS or related science.
• At least 12 months in a hospital training program or near completion of program; or qualified as medical technologist per regulations.
• Currently ASCP registered or eligible.
• BLS/CPR within 12 months of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains procedural quality standards and reports results within required time frames.
• Performs waived, moderately complex and high-complexity tests.
• Performs calibration, quality control, instrument checks, and troubleshooting as per manuals.
• Monitors QA issues and contributes to process improvements.
• Coordinates with coordinating tech or lab manager on opportunities to improve quality and workflow.
• Maintains supplies and completes clerical functions related to the job.
