Job summary

Aspen Valley Health is hiring a PRN Medical Lab Technician in the Clinical Laboratory department. The role performs routine and specialized tests on patient specimens, calibrates instruments, and adheres to established standards to support diagnosis and treatment.

Shift is rotating for 10 hours. Compensation ranges from $45.15 to $72.24 per hour with night and weekend differentials up to $10 per hour. Previous EPIC experience and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• ASCP Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification.
• Completion of a supervised one-year clinical internship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special laboratory assays on patient specimens in all sections of Clinical Laboratory Medicine.
• Calibrate and operate instruments according to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure results are accurate and documented per standards.

Education

Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology

ASCP - Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification
