Job summary

Aspen Valley Health is hiring a PRN Medical Lab Technician for the Clinical Laboratory department in Aspen. The role supports routine and specialized assays on patient specimens, with calibration and operation of instruments per maintenance schedules.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and MLT certification; internship completed. EPIC experience is preferred, and Spanish bilingual ability is a plus for serving diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology required.
• ASCP - MLT certification required.
• Completion of a supervised one year clinical internship.
• EPIC experience preferred; bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special laboratory assays of patient specimens.
• Calibrate and operate instruments according to maintenance schedules.
• Carry out microscopic, chemical, hematological, immunologic, or bacteriologic tests to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Work under supervision in the Clinical Laboratory Medicine department.
