Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and CMA/CCMA/RMA certification.
• BLS certification current.
• Experience with vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, and HIPAA.
• Strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced clinic.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam/treatment rooms and assist physicians during visits.
• Interview patients, record vitals, and document encounter data.
• Enter data accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
• Administer injections and routine laboratory tests within scope.
• Schedule procedures and obtain precertifications.
• Handle medical documents and communicate with patients/pharmacies.
