Job summary

Bookmark Medical in Brockton, MA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for per diem coverage in a clinic setting. Shifts are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with no weekend shifts.

You will welcome and room patients, take vitals, support providers during exams, perform point‑of‑care testing and vaccines under supervision, and keep accurate documentation in the EHR. You will also help with calls, referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Accredited MA training or equivalent experience.
• MA certification is required.
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Take vitals, update medical histories, and support providers during exams.
• Perform point of care testing and administer vaccines under supervision.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• Support patient education, follow ups, and clear communication.
• Help manage calls, referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and follow all safety guidelines.
